In July of 2008, a lone vehicle set out from the Arizona desert for the California coast. Its final destination was Carlsbad, home of Legoland.

Challenge 1: Defeat Darth Vader's lesser known (but more evil) cousin, Lego Vader.
Challenge 2: Take the assorted Lego pieces, attach them to 4 wheels in a race car-like fashion....and crush your opponents with your superior engineering skills.
On the left, we have "Einstein's" funny car.
And to the right, we have "It's Good to be the King's" sleek and sporty, minimalist car.
And they're OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a close race, folks. Funny car and minimalist car are running axle to axle. Who will win? Who will take home the bragging rights???
Oh no!!!! There's been a terrible wreck. The engineer of the funny car has cried foul on the female engineer of the minimalist vehicle. However, upon closer examination, the photographic evidence would suggest that it was in fact the male engineer of the funny car who was at fault.
Small print....
To be fair to all parties involved...this wreck occurred in the second heat and neither vehicle was able to continue.
And based on the success of the first heat, Michael declared himself to be the King. Bethany abdicated her title without incident.
There might have been one incident involving Lego Shrek.
Miniland was amazing. It was fascinating to see the reproductions of the cities and scenes. To say the designers were detail oriented would be a gross understatement.
There was an accident in Miniland. Someone (who shall not be named) commented that it was probably a woman driving the SUV that derailed the train.
This dragon was not in Miniland. If he had been, he would have been twice the size of Godzilla.
There was some of the requisite line standing. It is an amusement park after all.
No really, I meant it when I said no pictures!
